Your Journey

You will be assigned a dedicated Business Advisor and they will guide you through the whole process. They are aware of the particular skills and needs which the Armed Forces community may have in setting up a business and this will remain at the forefront throughout. Your Business Advisor will advise you on key areas such as marketing and market research, setting SMART objectives and strategizing, compliance with legislative requirements and evaluating your SWOT’s and risks and mitigation. You will be invited on business support workshops which further build on these areas and give you an opportunity to explore your ideas and soundboard with your peers. These steps are crucial for ensuring that your startup is given the best chance of success.

Case Study: Geotekk

Former Marine Commando Dr.Matthew James Leech and his friend James Sheppard worked together with our Business Advisor Anthony to launch their startup Geotekk. After falling victim to a bike theft, the entrepreneurs invented Limpet, a smart alarm bridging the gap between trackers and alarms. Despite having studied medicine for 7 years, Matthew believed in his product and his passions lay in making Geotekk a success so invested 3 years into R&D and prototyping to produce Limpet.
