New Year New Career

A new year often brings with it an opportunity for reflection upon the year which has just passed, and the possibility to plan for the year which is just beginning. We begin most of our self-employment workshops by asking attendees why they are exploring the idea of starting their own businesses and it is often because their current employment is lacking in these areas. Their passions often lie elsewhere and whilst they may have a strong or innovative business idea they are often apprehensive about taking the plunge into entrepreneurship.

And rightly so as deciding whether to start a business is a big decision which will affect both your professional and your personal life.
